5 posing ideas

5 Posing ideas for Senior Pictures to get your creative juices flowing while keeping it natural and relaxed.

Are you stuck with ideas for posing Seniors? Maybe you are a Senior who wants to practice a bit for the camera and you need some fresh ideas? Well, here are 5 go to Senior Girl poses that will get your creative juices flowing. We also like to keep the Senior relaxed, and comfortable in her pose so the look is more natural. Just our style. The flowing posing ideas are simple but easy and are always go to poses for our sessions. They work anywhere and can be adapted to stairs, to city to county etc. I tend to start standing, moving turning, and work my way to leaning, sitting, squatting and finally lying down.

You can squat with almost anything on and look at the camera or away. Just step your feet apart any width from shoulder width to a big step and squat naturally. You can rest your arms on your legs, the ground or nothing at all. You can point one foot at the camera or away. It all works!

Lying down. You can lay down on the ground, belly down or up or on your side. You can lay on a couch, a bench, the ground, almost anywhere. Just get creative.

Try leaning on a post, rail, fence, or other object. These gals pulled it off perfectly from an abandoned car at Nelson Ghost Town to back alley stairs in downtown Sacramento, California.

Next let’s look at the spin. Just start facing your back to the camera and slowly spin to look straight into the lens.

Our 5th posing idea. Drumroll…………………..

Just sit down.
