Let’s start in any town! This is Palm Springs but it could be your local grocery store or most any adobe building in the area you travel to. The point is to check out the architecture and textures of the buildings. Palm Springs, in Southern California is a desert oasis and it has it all, from fountains, staircases, city streets, botanical gardens, art centers, golf courses, desert museums, and parks. It is a great location for Mid Century Modern vibes and its hotels are frequently used for fashion shoots with big name designers.

The Salton Sea area is so diverse artistically…..it is an amazing location.
San Diego is a loved spot! From beautiful beaches, hiking, downtown and the Zoo - there is plenty to do and amazing places for a photoshoot!
A million dry lakes! Try out this one in the High Desert! Just be sure to pack lots of water if you are venturing out into the desert.
Kelso Sand Dunes - There are many dunes in California. Some are located along the beaches, some in Death Valley, some in the Mojave Preserve, & some near Yuma along the Mexican border. These dunes are amazing places for photoshoots!
A variety of Ghost Towns spattered all over the state, make for interesting backdrops. Many grew up along Gold mines.
