Wow! This Senior Best Friends Photoshoot was a dream! It was so hot I was melting but the girls kept their cool and hung in there for some really cute images.

We met up at Rendelman’s Orchard in Southern Illinois for their lovely flower fields of Zinnias for the shoot! Rendelman’s is known for their peaches and apples but they have begun to plant zinnias, sunflowers and pumpkins the past few years. They are easy to find just south of Carbondale on the 127. Karis and Kayti styled their shoot and they looked amazing! The perfect combination of color and style for the sea of amazing color the zinnias provided.

The girls spun, walked, and generally had a great time watching the humming birds, butterflies and bees enjoy this beautiful day. I only got just stung once by a bumblebee so I consider that a success! I am sure I invaded his space so no harm no foul… I got what I asked for as I was squatting and generally moving through the flowers as the bumblebees were intent on gathering pollen and nectar.
