Posing Fun -

Posing for Senior Pictures can be so much fun! Elizabeth and Jazzy met me in downtown Marion, Illinois for some posing fun and camera skills play. We met up at the Coffee Brew House… a very hip and cool coffee shop. From there we ventured out on a pretty sunny but cold day to find some fun places to practice some posing fun. Immediately across the parking lot we spied some murals so we headed on over to play on the colorful walls.

Posing fun for me means the client is comfortable and natural but looking their best! Jazzy were game to try out some posing on the wall. Her blonde hair, blue shirt and beautiful eyes really stood out on this shades of pink mural wall. Her black leggings and boots playfully crossed lines int he artwork!

Standing against the wall, you can shoot all around! I love how the pattern stood out on this black and white image.

Facing the wall you can use your hands and arms to frame your face!

Play around with what ever is around! You can pose on stairs, walkways, rails……. all sorts or things that seem rather dull can really help to set the mood of the shoot and give the subject something to work with! Stay relaxed and breath out slowly through you mouth to relax your face.

Don’t be afraid to try new poses and check out all the options. From sitting to lying down to standing or leaning on a wall…. posing can be fun and add interest to your photo session experience. We have your covered with angles and posing coaching that relax you and catch some amazing images.

We wrapped this session for the day in the alley. I can’t wait to get back out there.
