Beautiful Angelina, a Senior and SWP Model Team member, from Palm Springs California and I ventured out to the Mojave Desert, Joshua Tree for a fun filled afternoon of photography. She lit up the desert in this Pink Parachute which is an actual British Parachute from days gone by. The wind, which is ever present in the desert, helped to elevate the scene and make this a truly stunning image.
Joshua Tree is most well know for Joshua Tree National Park where many adventurous souls go to rock climb, hike, camp or otherwise enjoy all the Mojave Desert of Southern California has to offer. In actuality the Mojave Desert meets up with the Colorado Desert here in Joshua Tree. The landscape is beautiful but can be unforgiving. From Rattle Snakes to treacherous terrain and desert heat - you must be prepared in the desert at all times with plenty of water and appropriate footwear.
